About
I am a Graduate Researcher at Purdue University. I am applying my hardware-software background in Networks and Systems research with Dr. Muhammad Shahbaz.
I did my B.Engg in Electrical Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan, during which I met some incredible people I worked with to learn both hardware and software development. As part of my engineering design project, I worked with System-on-Chip Lab and Integrated Circuits Design Lab at NUST to develop a vector extension based on RISC-V Vector Instruction Set Architecture. A research article based on the work is under process.
I previosuly worked as a Research Intern at Signal Processing and Machine Learning Lab at NUST, where I worked on development of a deep learning based tool for highlighting anomalous keratin pearl in skin tissues.
I was also a Teaching Assistant at AI Lounge, where I have collaborated with Dr. Hassan Aqeel at Aston University and Dr. S.A. Zaidi at University of Leeds to develop teaching material for a workshop on TinyML.
